Which of these sounds like your firm?
- Project inquiries are inconsistent. Some months the phone rings, some months it doesn't, and you can't say why.
- Your revenue has been stuck at roughly the same number for two or three years, short of the seven-figure mark you know the firm is capable of, and you can't point to what will change it.
- Good prospects say "we're looking at a few firms," then go quiet.
- You've watched newer, smaller firms win projects your portfolio should have won, because they were more visible.
- You're busy, but the projects aren't as profitable as they should be. Scope creep eats the fee.
- You're the designer, marketer, salesperson, and project manager. The business gets whatever hours are left over.
- You know the business side of your firm could be stronger. You're just not sure where to start.
If you nodded at any of these, it's not because you're bad at business. It's because nobody handed you a system. Design programs don't teach you how to run a successful firm. And most architects never get to learn it on the job either.
Running your firm shouldn't be a constant struggle, and it shouldn't come down to guesswork. That's what this session is about.
In 60 minutes, you'll walk away with:
- The six-part framework for a firm that works. Leadership, marketing, sales, services, operations & overhead, cash flow. Think of it as the mini-MBA architecture school skipped: how the six areas fit together, and why a weakness in any one of them quietly drags down the others.
- A way to diagnose your own firm. Most owners are strong in one or two areas and winging the rest. You'll learn what "working" looks like in each area, so you can spot exactly where your firm is losing money, time, or opportunities right now.
- The positioning shift that changes how clients see you. Why prospects often hire the firm with the clearest plan rather than the best portfolio, and the simple messaging reframe that makes your firm the obvious choice.
- Practical tools you can use this week. Real examples from our first Academy cohort: the follow-up email structure that turned a three-firm shortlist into a signed contract, the tiered proposal one architect rebuilt in an afternoon, and the five-account cash flow system that tells you your firm's financial health at a glance.
This is a teaching session. You'll leave with things you can apply immediately, whether we ever talk again or not.
What happened when real firm owners applied this training?
These are results from the first EntreArchitect Academy cohort, across three different areas of the framework:
Sales. Steve, a commercial architect in Wisconsin, started the year telling us "the phone's not ringing." He restructured one follow-up email around the framework. Within 48 hours, the client had cut the shortlist and shared his financing timeline. By spring: six signed contracts, and his new problem was scheduling the work.
Services & pricing. Jackie, a residential architect, rebuilt her proposal into a tiered format in a single afternoon after one session on pricing. Her words: "Once you see it, you can't unsee it."
Marketing. Liz went from no email marketing at all to a year's worth of client-nurturing emails built on these frameworks.
Different firms, different weak spots, same system.

One more thing, full transparency.
At the end of the session, we'll tell you about Cohort 2 of the EntreArchitect Academy, the 16-week live program where we go deep on all six areas, starting August 24. Attendees get first access to the lowest tuition we'll offer, and seats are capped at 25 firms.
If that's not for you, no problem; you're free to leave before we cover that. But the teaching stands on its own, and it's yours to keep either way.
Answers To Frequently Asked Questions
Is this just a sales pitch?
No. We'll be teaching and sharing real results from our first cohort. The last few minutes cover how the Academy works, for those who want to go deeper. The frameworks stand on their own.
I run a solo firm. Is this relevant?
Yes. Our first cohort ranged from solo practitioners to established multi-person firms, and every framework includes how to apply it without a team. Steve, the six-contracts example above, is a solo firm.
I attended the Business Blueprint webinar last fall. Is this the same content?
No. That session introduced the framework. This one is sharper and built around what actually happened when a full cohort of firm owners applied it: what worked, what surprised us, and the specific results.
What if I can't attend live?
Register anyway, and we'll send you the replay. Just note that the AIA credit requires live attendance.
How much does the Academy cost?
Tuition and early enrollment pricing are announced at the webinar. Attendees get access to the lowest price we'll offer for Cohort 2.
